Just checked out “ReadAir”:http://code.google.com/p/readair/wiki/ReleaseNotes — an Adobe Air desktop client for Google Reader. I ran it on a PowerBook G4 with 2GB RAM.
1) Not as responsive and quick as Google Reader online.
2) Doesn’t seem to hide “read” posts, or offer any such option.
These are my two main reasons for using Google Reader in the first place, so this isn’t for me apparently.
